Camel can be soft and sharp at the same time. It all depends on how it's introduced into one's space.
Walls with a soft or warm camel done in a matte or high gloss paired with other creamy or white neutrals can add warmth without adding too much color. I love camel leather and mohair for sofas, chairs or pillows too. A textured camel linen panel hangs lovely as drapery against a neutral or printed wallpaper such as a Gracie Chinoiserie etc. But, don't take my word for it just look at these below!
