The Summer Wind..

Well it is going to be about 90 degrees today! It is only April, yet it feels like summer. When it gets this hot I start thinking, "water"! I was dreaming about beautiful waterfront homes last night, and I decided to find some that truly intrigued me. Most have one thing in common, pale colors! The interiors are filled with predominantly white and blue, and some dark accents. For the most part they all have a light airy feel, just what you want and need on a hot summer day! It made me want to slip cover my existing sofas for the summer in a Sunbrella white or flax fabric and make the whole house feel lighter!  Actually, maybe I will!!  I have navy and white in my cabanas, but I need to brighten that up a bit, still searching for pattern and color that catches my eye and is outdoor friendly to create new throw pillows. Until then, I can live vicariously through these posted photographs! Happy Monday!!
