Eclectic NJ Beach Bungalow Tour !

I had the pleasure of visiting a dear friend who just renovated her Jersey beach bungalow. I use to partner with Nancy up in Rhinebeck, NY in an antique business.  She has such a fabulous eye for the unexpected. She can find a treasure in a pile of garbage.  I also love how Nancy recycles pieces and arranges them in a cool, eclectic manner.  This is why it's so important to remember that new is good but vintage with interest makes the space. I can truly say that this is no cookie cutter home and it is as inviting as it is interesting and well done.  I hope you all have wonderful plans this weekend as we remember those who fought for this country to keep it free.  Now come along for a tour I know you will want to pin a few of these images for sure!!

Yes this is New Jersey!!

Did I mention she is an amazing chef!!

What Im Currently Craving!

There is nothing like reading "The World Of Interiors" on a Sunday night to wet your design appetite!
I can tell you that there are quite a few things that I am craving after leafing through this design menu.  Like a piece of cake while you are on a no carb diet some of these things are on my "if money was no object" list for sure.  What better way to start the week  than to share these with you.
I also had the good fortune of meeting up with some of the loveliest bloggers again to see our friend Jeanne - artist extraordinaire's event at Next Inspired Home in Rye NY.
So needless to say my first craving is any painting by Jeanne McKay Hartmann. You too can can satisfy this craving for her amazing art by going HERE.

2nd Craving  is a shopping spree at Giovanna Ticciati
Their site never disappoints.

Love Goodly

It is good to"Love Goodly" and to "Shop Goodly"!  I love eco friendly and animal friendly products. Let me introduce this company "Love Goodly.

Two moms Katie Bogue-Miller and Justine Lassoff wanted to use products that were safe for themselves and their families but also at a reasonable price. Products that are better for our planet.
The average woman uses 168 chemicals in their personal care every day and up to 60% of what we put on our skin gets absorbed into our bloodstream.
Katie and Justine created  bimonthly subscription boxes so you can discover nontoxic beauty, eco lifestyle and wellness products at a great price. The brands they carry are cruelty-free, organic, non-gmo, eco-friendly and vegan. With each purchase, they give 5% back to a cause.
The causes they support are the following:

I was so excited to see Farm Sanctuary because it's a cause that I already supported.
I was also happy to see that one can buy individual items as well as joining a bimonthly box goody.
Here are a few of the fun things you can buy on Goodly and they include things ranging form food to  eco friendly candles and make up.
So go treat yourself to something fun and healthy while giving back!
