Wine, Dine and Erin Martin Design!

There is still more to share from my trip to California's Wine country! This time it's strictly design, Erin Martin Design to be exact.  We had some time between vineyards to stop at the quant town of Saint Helena. I loved all the little shops but once a designer always a designer and my eye instantly went to the fabulous Martin Showroom. I dragged my husband in but much to his surprise this was like no other design store he had seen and even he was completely amazed. The art was jaw dropping and the architectural and sculptural art installs stopped you in your tracks. I told the sales person to please move to Manhattan so I can come work here!! So, not only have I included my photos from the showroom I researched her work and had to pick some of my favorites too. I know you will want to see more of Erin Martin so after this go HERE! Have a great weekend and Happy Halloween!

ORC Linking Limbo!

I am so behind with Linda's @Calling It Home -Linking Party!! I have ordered all that needs to be here but still waiting for pieces to arrive, and wondering where they are? Let's see I need the chocolate lamp shades, the chrome ring pull hardware,  wooden monogram for wall and oh yes the rug!  I truly hope that all arrives in the next few days so that I can actually reveal a room next week.  Take a look at what's done so far, hope I don't disappoint! For more great ORC rooms hit the linking button ORC  in left panel!  Now I am going to go see how everyone else is making out, cheers!

My Daughter painted the piece on the left!

Missing in action!

Not in this color but you get the idea!

Wine, Dine and Design Part Deux!

Come join me as I take you on tour with the wine, dine and design part two! We are headed to Round Pond Estate and this one is truly a trifecta, it truly hits upon all three WDD. We experienced fabulous wine and an amazing tour. The wine making process was an educational experience and then we had the pleasure of a farm to table lunch set up right in their gorgeous outdoor garden. There were even dogs and a chicken coop included. The design flair inside is extremely good looking and well done. We not only ordered delicious wine but tasted and fell in love with the olive oil  as well. I brought a yummy bottle of Meyer Lemon home and I cannot wait to open it. You too can experience the delectable wines, oils and vinegars from Round Pond right HERE! Enjoy this tour and put it on your must see list when hitting the wine country.

Wine, Dine and Design Part One!

I am back and feeling a bit tired from a whirlwind week with great people out in the wine country.
There was so much to see, taste and learn that I thought I would do this post in parts!  Not only was there wine but there was incredible food and design and I cannot wait to share it with you.  One of my favorite stops on the wine tour is an incredible winery labeled "The Vineyardist".  Not only are the views breathtaking but the house was steeped in history and had an incredible kitchen as well. I loved the wine and the surroundings but it's the kitchen that may really peak your design curiosity. To learn more about this lovely winery and how to sign up for their wines see here.
