Audrey Sterk bringing wall paper back!

 Audrey Sterk
We met Audrey last year at the gift show, and could not wait to see what she had this year!  Of course we were not disappointed. Audrey is a talented muralist who pushed her talent further and created a line of ready to install murals, and now fantastic wall coverings!  Audrey has even taken her coverings and embossed them onto furniture and fabric.. and allows custom colors to be decided by the designer! Cant wait to use her in a project very soon.. meanwhile enjoy the beautiful creations of Audrey Sterk!
Can be installed as mural or art piece!

I love this one.. wait to see table and room!

Marsh mural embossed onto table...completely waterproof finish!

One of her murals in the back drop.. simple elegant!@

Fun time at this years NY Gift Show! Loved seeing my favorites bringing out some great new products, as well as some new vendors with chic, affordable pieces!! Mixes of popping color, fabulous lighting and bright  pillows reigned! After over 5 hours of walking and talking... we came home with great catalogues, and new accounts that we cant wait to share with our clients! Enjoy a small glimpse at some of our favorite finds at the Pier!

Valentine's day around the corner.. flowers please! As long as they are from Bennison!

Yes, its almost Cupid month.. and there are chocolates and flowers galore!  I thought about how florals have played a significant role in design for years.. and how I wish to see more of them make a comeback! No sooner did the words leave my mouth did I receive the Bennison Calendar! These are the florals I wished for! Classic, elegant and now with new colors, they are fun and chic as well. Even if you swear you are floral phobic, please check out these pics and maybe I can cure you!

Love this , mix of zebra and floral!!

Wow!

Understated elegance...

Interior design and its love of "The Equine"!

With all the talk about War Horse, I decided to pick up the book and read it prior to viewing the movie. It was a short and wonderful read.. with painful reminders of the sacrifices these wonderful horses have made for us humans!  I am deeply moved, primarily because I own one of these majestic animals.. although at times he does try us!!   I also started thinking about how horses have entered our homes, not literally but rather through our shear love at looking at them. Thus, the horse has played an intricate part in interior design.  I have posted examples of how designers have used this great animal to create a fabulous space, with links to certain sites that can help you bring a little "equus" into your life!
