The Urban Cottage!

Michelle McGonegal is a Gladstone, NJ, resident with a shop just one mile from her home.  Her 10-year-old son, Liam, can even ride his bicycle to Urban Cottage Goods  to visit his mom after school.  A gifted painter and graphic artist, McGonegal views old furniture as art, and has a lifetime love for scouting estate sales to satisfy her appreciation for vintage treasures.    After years of collecting vintage pieces from all over Pennsylvania and upstate New York, McGonegal began taking appointments in her home and held a few open houses for friends and the community to show off her vintage furniture finds.  The positive feedback inspired her to rent her current space in Gladstone and open the Urban Cottage shop.-Courtesy of-Roxy Best of.

I just love Michelle's style, she has vintage pieces mixed with industrial chic! Not to mention great casual clothing, wonderful jewelry and home goods ! The perfect one stop shopping, and great for that unique gift for that special someone who seems to have everything.
The town of Gladstone is quaint and adorable, and if your hungry for a bite to eat Coco Luxe is right next door to The Urban Cottage, where you are instantly transported to a small french bistro with pastries to rival bakeries of NYC. If you want some libations with your lunch the beautiful Gladstone Tavern is also within walking distance from Urban Cottage and the train station. Yes, there is also a train that comes right into Gladstone from New York, so come on out for a nice afternoon in the Jersey countryside with great shopping!
