She was a women of style and intrigue, as she tried to keep her private life just that,"private"! I loved how she presented herself, and the clothes she wore etc. She is one woman I would have loved to have been able to create a space for! I found an inspiration room that I thought was in keeping with her style, and then had fun on Polyvore doing my updated interpretation of it. I am leaving you with some wonderful images of Grace and hope you have a lovely graceful weekend!

Grace Kelly was such a stylish lady and had a timeless beauty. The photo of her wearing the fuschia pink looks so modern! I visited Monaco several years ago and it's a very chic place which I'm sure you will enjoy.
ReplyDeleteSuch elegance. She is one of the all time most stylish women. I'm so excited for you - what a fabulous trip you have planned. I've never been to Monaco, but love, love, love London. The V&A, the Tate & Tate Modern, The British Museum... so much that's wonderful. One of our favorite finds from our last trip was the Bibendum Oyster bar in the old Michelin building on Fulham Road. Fabulous! XOXO
ReplyDeleteThank you for the tips on London!! I will check them out!
DeleteWhat an amazing trip! Those are two of my favorite cities - you will love them!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kris, any ideas of wardrobe for Monaco?
DeleteWow I am officially jealous! What an amazing adventure and beautiful inspiration to boot! Love how you get yourself amp'd by researching a bit of the back story...from fashion and style icons to interior design and decoration...great inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHave an awesome weekend!

ReplyDeleteYou will love it!! I have been to both, and wished I had spent more time in Monaco. There is noting like the warm sun along the French Riviera. Cute walking shoes, a small umbrella, and a few layers should work wonders for you. London can be cold. I can't wait to see your pictures. Are you on Instagram?
ReplyDeleteYes, on Instagram will definitely take lots if pics!!
Deleteoh she is a beauty. Monaco is quite fun, be sure to visit some of the neighboring towns, Menton, Eze Village, and into Italy {it's so close} if you can. Also, figure out a way to get into the Monaco Beach Club.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
Yes we are doing a tour of Eze , thank you for suggestion !! Xo Karolyn
DeleteOh Karolyn I am so happy I caught this post despite my own travels. How exciting to travel to London and Monaco. I've been to London several times and have driven through Monaco but not spent time there. You will indeed have some 'graceful' and gorgeous moments on your trip. I can't wait to follow along just as you followed me. Happy packing.....layering is a must for this season.
