A Gun Metal Gray Day
It's is such a gray day for me. It is cloudy here and the house is quiet and the feel of Fall is in the air. I am also reflecting on all the great losses we have had this past year. The one that was a big surprise was poor Joan. Yes, I know she was 81 but that woman was full of life. I was just watching her express her heart felt sadness over Robin Williams just a few week ago but then she followed it up in true Joan style with a crazy off the cuff joke. She always made me laugh even when I didn't want to. I feel gray but Joan had more glitz than gray so I thought a gunmetal gray may be the true color of today. Have a safe and wonderful weekend everyone.
See she can still make me laugh even though I cried watching E last night and the moving tribute to her and her family! I hope that soon Melissa can look back upon her Mother's life and smile. credit

DeleteI told my mom earlier...God certainly broke the mold with Joan a true one of a kind..there will never ever be another! I do love gun metal gray...such a moody dramatic color, love it in interiors as well as clothing and just saw the most gorgeous crocodile bag, TO DIE FOR...in this color....Joan would have approved!

DeleteLoved seeing this post! It is truly hard to lose those that we grew up to and related too and those that made us laugh! Gray was the perfect description…sure wish fall was in the air here in Alabama, though! Hopefully it will be soon! Take care!
