I loved the article in this month's Veranda about Gerrie Bremermann's tips for enduring style as a Delicate Balance. Art was high on the priority list and she gave Amanda Stone Talley's work as an example. I was instantly smitten! Amanda is located in New Orleans and her style is wonderful and fluid as the "Big Easy " can be. I love her eye for color mixing and she now also has wallpaper and pillows that convey the same unique style that her paintings have become famous for. Here are some of her works, I am sure you too will be smitten with Ms. Talley's art too. To see more fabulous pieces go HERE.
NEXT SHE DOES FABULOUSLY FUN WALL COVERINGS!
DID I MENTION PILLOWS?
ugh! I love the color and pattern mix. What we do with out exposing us to all this goodness? So grateful for your blog!!!

ReplyDeleteOH such beautiful, stunning colors to rush through our imaginations!!!! Dear one, thank you for coming to visit me; I will still be in Blogland, visiting, just not posting. Your dear comment means a lot to me. HAVE A SPLENDID DAY! Anita
ReplyDeleteLove her work, too, Karolyn. Couldn't agree more about the importance of art! We have a few empty spaces that are begging for just the right work. Perhaps I should add covering them with something beautiful to my resolution list for this year! XOXO
ReplyDeleteKarolyn I have always loved Amanda's art and now her new pillows are wonderful! Love the Broadmoor and Riviera lumbar!
