More Mustard...Please!
I love mustard on sandwiches and for cooking chicken and fish, but I really love it added to interiors best! Thank you for all the lovely comments about my color crush post. Wanted to be clear that it was actually the "loser" board of the boards, but I had a personal crush on it. I cannot wait to share the winner board which does have a topping of"Mustard". I feel that mustard is one of those saturated colors that can lean towards camel or yellow and adds a bit of depth to a space. It blends so well with other colors especially this years color of the year, Marsala. I especially love it with prussian blue and gray. Here are some of my favorite spaces that have a dollop of mustard!

Hi Karolyn! Love this shade too! And you are right, goes so well with Marsala, another awesome color for me! Kisses! xo
ReplyDeleteI have never been a big fan of the color mustard yellow, but I think this post just might have changed my mind!
ReplyDeleteLove it, Karolyn. I love the richness of mustard - a more serious, mature shade than sunshine yellow. The examples here are lovely! XOXO
ReplyDeleteKarolyn, the last bedroom and dining room, so luxe!

Not usually a fan, but the images are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThe images show its versatility rather than just mustard alone, thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI love it too, Karolyn! Perfect.

I see from your pictures that mustard as a color for interiors is great!! Like it for clothing, too - not too much, but makes a nice color splash for winter.

DeleteHappy New Year! So much inspiration here. It's true that mustard goes with so many other colours as you have shown here. Great for interiors but not a colour I would wear.
ReplyDeleteI have touches of mustard in my den which has a lot of blues and reds. I also like my mustard spicy on my turkey sandwich! Have a great week, sweet Karolyn!
ReplyDeleteThis is a favorite accent color of mine too. My living and dining room used to be a similar shade, but over the years it was too much. I went with a neutral paint color and recently added some mustard accents.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very "vintag-y" color - hard to use, but you share some beautiful ways to incorporate it!
ReplyDeleteI certainly agree to some points that you have discussed on this post. I appreciate that you have shared some reliable tips on this review.
ReplyDeleteVery informative, keep posting such good articles, it really helps to know about things.
