Walls and Fabric - It's All The Same!

I was so inspired by a wonderful Instagram image this AM that I just had to post it.  I have always loved matching fabric to walls to furniture ever since I saw the wonderful room of Lee Radziwill!  There is something so elegant and smart about a redundant play of pattern. I think I need to find a space in my home to incorporate this design idea. How about you matching or not? What's your thought?

  4. Very pretty! Wallpaper isn't as popular on the West Coast (although that's changing a bit). I want to put it in my bathroom :) Love the Cheetah!

  5. Oh yes I love it too...such depth. Do you remember Heaven Can Wait? Dyan Cannon's bedroom? It was opulent...even the doors had matching fabric!

  7. I could definitely live with it. To me, it's soothing, calm, serene & completely uncluttered. And, NOT boring boring boring. I love all that !!!

  8. As a very amateur design enthusiast this look seems so intimidating!! It looks fantastic, almost like an optical illusion making spaces look larger since your eye never stops. definitely lavish!

  9. If you had asked me yesterday if I liked the look I would have said no, but after seeing those images of designers who did it right, I would totally go for it!

  10. I love this look when it's a large scale pattern with a large repeat. The smaller patterns make me a little dizzy:)
