Blackened

As we approach October and a chill enters the air, I cant help but think of things blackened. I guess it's the love of Halloween and the depth and black gives to walls, art and accents. I am a firm believer that all rooms should have at least one thing that is black. Here are some of my favorite blackened things.

    Oh how I agree and love your choices since I'm into moody and dramatic. Have you seen the new introduction in kitchen appliances of Black stainless steel? Now that's wild I say.

    For over 25 years my entire downstairs was white but I have now turned to the dark side of the force. We enlarged windows, added bead board and I am in the process of painting the bead board black. I'm using BM's stock black, the truest black I have found—no blue, no gray, no brown, no green—just black. The Advance paint adds a bit of gloss. Everything looks great against the black. I love it! In the daytime, you don't have the feeling you need to wear your sunglasses inside and in the evening, it feels like a cocoon. I know it's not for everyone, but I love it.
