The Dreaded Half Wall!

I am sure there are those out there who are dealing with the dreaded half wall! You know the one that was put there by a spec builder like in my poor mother's new home. Also those ones created as support for the room. What to do with those annoying walls? I will tell you have no fear because that wall can become a focal point with a little carpentry and patience.  My parents move in this weekend and I will keep you posted on the change we will make to the wall joining their kitchen to great room.... stay tuned. Meanwhile check these ideas out!

  6. These are all such pretty examples! We had a half wall between our kitchen and family room and we tore it out during the renovation. I can't wait to see what you do with your parents' house!
