Nothing Like An Irish Garden!

I do remember vividly running in an out of rhododendrons the size of trees in one of my favorite Irish gardens. The colors seemed so bright and the greens so green! I loved going through town and seeing all the gardens in bloom along with gorgeous window boxes. I am sure the climate and rain have alot to do with the beautiful gardens of Ireland because I certainly have not been able to replicate one here.

The Lodge At Doonbeg is a 5-star golf resort and spa located on the west coast of Ireland in County Clare.  The property is situated on Doughmore bay, a mile long stretch of beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.  Doonbeg is situated on the main coastal road between Ballybunion and Lahinch and one hour from Shannon International Airport. 

This is one fabulous place! I love the design, and the location , this is on my bucket list for sure!

Pining For Irish Furniture!

I love antique pine furniture! There is something quite nostalgic about it for me, as I remember pieces in relatives homes from years ago.  I love the simplicity and patina too.  Yes, I know these pieces may favor country decor but some of the more primitive pine pieces can be mixed even into tribal or eclectic decor.
