Contemplating Layers...

Now that my living room is getting a much needed facelift, my floor needs addressing.  I have a large hemp rug but with changing over to camels and rust I feel that the simple hemp might not be enough.
I think I may just add another layer!  I love the look and coziness of layered rugs, however there are so many looks to choose from. One may do a layered hide or moroccan over sisal or hemp, but I think I may be leaning towards an old tribal or persian rug. I have to admit I am having a difficult time deciding and once you see all these great images you will understand why! I hope everyone is taking time to breathe deeply since we only have ten days until Christmas and one day until Hanukkah. Relax it all comes together in the end. Happy Monday!

Still Crazy For Camel!

credit
I am watching my sofa and two chairs go out the door to the upholsterer! I have done a waltz of two step forwards and one step back as I decided how to recover them. I went back to my classic choice "Camel".  The sofa will be B.Berger diamond pattern with deep rust velvet chairs from Kravet and the pillows a favorite Schumacher fabric print. I will add touches of medium watery blue but that is at a later date.  I know that gray and taupe are all the rage but I still think I am crazy for camel.  Are you a little camel crazy too?
