Amazing Gracie!

We were so happy when our clients agreed to leave  the vintage Gracie wall covering in place. They were afraid it looked dated, but we assured them that with the right complementary pieces and fabric it will seem like new again. I love Gracie, always have always will. If you cannot do the original Gracie there are some wonderful companies who also render hand painted wall coverings that are gorgeous. If you need to see for yourself check out- The Glam Pad's new powder room, now thats a fabulous reproduction with the stately appearance of a true Gracie! Here are a few great vintage Gracie images that would still look fabulous in today's interiors!

The final install proved that with some current fabric, a new fireplace surround, fun accessories and a Stark Antelope rug even a vintage Gracie looks as if we just installed it yesterday!

Above two in AD have the vintage Gracie that was restore in Michael S. Smith's space!

This lovely is at 1stDibs!

This great framed Gracie is also at 1stDibs and would great in a foyer or unexpected spot!

EBAY!!! check it out!

  2. Too funny, would we demolish an Italian villa predating Christ because it's dated?

Some things really do stand the test of time. Who curates them is another matter.
