If you are not familiar with Timorous Beasties, the company was started by two cleverly talented men, Alistair McAuley and Paul Simmons. The two met as they attended Glasgow School Of the Arts, and the rest is history!
Timorous Beasties opened their first retail shop in 2004 on the Great Western Road in Glasgow and a second shop in central London in 2007. In addition they have collaborated with brands such as Brintons Carpets, Nike and Famous Grouse. In 2011 they produced a bespoke collection of cushions for John Lewis Department Stores, an exclusive range of textiles and home accessories for Liberty of London and home accessories for the newly refurbished National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh. - See more at: Timorous Beasties!
Sherlock and Irene The wall covering in the backround sent me searching! |
They have a do it yourself room that is so much fun to try out!! You must go to the site and make up your own room,,, its a difficult task because there is so much to choose from! |
That's some sexy hot wallpaper! I wish I had a room to make moody and mysterious. It's really hard in a small townhouse in CA. But I try....
ReplyDeleteLove the photos

I'm so out of the loop - I've never watched it but recorded it for a friend last night, so maybe I'll have to cave and watch it with her!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you! So happy to be back and Downton (although could Lord Grantham get any more tiresome?), can't wait for Sherlock and would have Timorous Beasties all over my house but don't think my husband would appreciate it much. Oh well! These coverings are the stuff that fantasies are made of, so I'll just have to dream of a lovely London flat done up in style.
ReplyDeleteHope 2014 is off to a lovely start for you! XO
We taped Downton last night because #1 was home. Can't wait to see it. These wall covering are really unique. I've never seen anything like them.
ReplyDeletei ma going to have to watch Sherlock! I love these wall coverings!! Dying over the gray and white!

So unique, a home that incorperates a bold patterned paper or fabric like this would be one not soon forgotten by its visitors. I love a bold wall treatment.
ReplyDeleteI love that toille lamp! xo Caroline
