Fall Faux Bois -Susy Ventura!

I love going to the Stockton Farmer's Market in Stockton NJ. Visiting the market is always a treat because you never know what you may find.  This past Sunday I found Artist Susy Ventura. Susy has casted and sculpted the most beautiful containers, chairs, log holders and almost anything you can think of out of concrete and stain to mimic bark. These are all indoor/outdoor and each piece is one of a kind! They are extremely sturdy as she uses steel rods to create handles etc.  If you love something but the size doesn't work or you want to create something totally unique for your home, Susy will commission a piece to your liking.  Susy doesn't do Social Media so she relies on word of mouth and a brochure that one may email and ask for. I absolutely love the Faux Bois  urns they are such a gorgeous alternative to cast iron and will give any entryway instant art and personality. Hope you like these as much as I do.

  1. I could see an entire home designed around those lovely faux bois designs. Something very Hansel and Gretel about them....magical!
Happy Autumn! Today, on my noon walk, I shall look for signs of faux bois designs in nature. Please tell Susy her designs are amazing.
