Wish I could find that first colour. But there's a gorgeous silk velvet called Hazelnut at Fabricguru, that's a close second. And yes, velvet is more forgiving than linen with cats.
ReplyDeleteThank you I will have to check that out!!
DeleteAww thanks for the sweet mention. I would love to see rust velvet on just about anything. Also wanna see these chairs you speak of! Was is Indian Zag they were covered in by chance??
ReplyDeleteHi Bethany it is Paisley Linen/slate and Remy the cat wrecked them!!!Thats when I knew I could take the cat from the barn but not the outdoor barn out of the cat!!
DeleteHello, rusty velvet! Gorgeous - can't wait to see the final fabric you decide on!
ReplyDeleteI will be sure to post when these bad boys get restored!!
DeleteLOVE!!!! Cannot say it enough...so rich and elegant and stunning. I love velvet but doing it in the rust takes it to the next level.....gorgeous!

Deletecognac! looks stunning, k.
ReplyDeleteHave had rust in some form or other for over thirty years, never goes out of style. Right now I have rust colored mohair on a 1930's Deco couch, wonderful except for my white dogs depositing their hair!

All your images are spot on and I love how a little rust gives patina to a room or object.
