A Touch of Pink For Fall!

Even though we always associate Fall with vibrant colors such as orange, yellow and red it is also influenced by an important color for October, PINK! I am sure we have all been touched by breast cancer either personally or through someone we know. My dearest of friends is 2 years free after a bilateral radical mastectomy and I am thankful to have her here everyday.  Seeing all of the wonderful touches of pink this month makes us remember to take care of ourselves and help spread the word of prevention and early care. Here are some wonderful "Pink" Fall inspiration and cheers to all of the survivors out there, plus hugs and strength to all of those we have lost or are battling this disease now.

Maggie was a great source of strength for her through it all!

  4. Sending good thoughts for the continuing good health of your friend and all who have been touched by this terrible disease.
I've never thought about pink as part of fall decorating but I do like the orange and pink combo so will have to give it a whirl!

  5. Great topic! I was out for coffee at The Stonehaus today and all the cyclists were wearing pink. A lot of pink was worn in general by men and woman. It was a sight to see. I was so proud to have my dogs leashes in pink. Just think....all month long. It's nice to see the support for those who have been lost, and for those fighting!
