TEMP_ 300 degrees
Place butter and sugars in bowl with paddle attachment.
beat until light and fluffy about 6 minutes
then egg and vanilla until well combined.
In another mixing bow combine the flour, baking soda and salt. Then slowly add this mixture to wet ingredients while beating on low. Once added beat and additional 15 seconds. Then stir in the chocolate chips and ground coffee.
Using a 1 once scoop drop onto greased cookie sheet , I would use a Silpat if you have it. Space about 3 inches apart. then gently press to make 2 inch round circles. Bake for about 20 minutes until brown around the edges. Cool and remember to grease the pan in between bakings! ENJOY!

ReplyDeleteYou're killing me! I'm enjoying my morning coffee too, and I'm thinking about what to eat for breakfast. It all has my mouth watering. The chicken soup with cheddar biskets sounds so good, I can almost smell it. The photos are beautiful!!!

ReplyDeleteHi Karolyn!!! Such a crazy, icy day. The perfect "at home" day!!!
ReplyDeleteI can not even begin to tell you how much I love Neiman Marcus. This is a must have book for me. I have one of the others and regularly make their tortilla soup and have made those divine popovers. Growing up in Dallas, it was and still is one of my favorite places to go for lunch. And, those chocolate chip cookies are legendary!!!! I have to get this!
Stay warm!
xoxo Elizabeth

That chocolate chip cookie recipe is famous! We love doing personal appearances at our NM stores, if only to dine at their restaurants and have some delicious meals. This cook book looks like a keeper! Hope you're staying warm and dry, Karolyn!
