My Colorific Friend!

I am enjoying the design process as I help my friend redo her living room.  She loves color but her husband likes neutral.. what to do?? We had some fun boards with great pairings but in the end the original subtle mix of water and wasabi won out. We have decided to add a few unexpected colors to this mix like pops of orchid and a fun faux wasabi leather.  We also found a fabulous low armless sofa in Lambertville, New Jersey that came from the Parish Hadley estate!  We cannot wait to reupholster it in a fabric that  would make Albert proud! So in honor of my colorific friend I wanted to pay tribute to rooms with fun color done right. These are rooms that I could see my friend enjoying a good glass of wine in. Stay tuned as this great space unfolds it should be a beauty!

Above are similar drapes and our colors will be slightly more subtle but with a few unexpected jewels thrown in it should give my colorific friend just what she's looking for!
