The Kitchen Blues

It's is great to be back and blogging after a lovely week in the Florida sun. It's so much fun to see the different design sensibility when you leave the North East.  One thing I found so cool was staying at a condo with a modern high gloss blue kitchen. It was crisp and sharp yet not sterile in feel. It was perfect as a beach coast kitchen with an open entertainment area.  Quartz counters and back plash in gray with stainless steel appliances all worked so well in this kitchen. I am sure this Italian designer cabinetry was not inexpensive, but I am sure one could get a similar look with flat face full overlay doors and drawers sprayed with a good quality high gloss paint and add sleek hardware to finish it off. Here are a few of my favorite things about the W Hotel Condo Ft Lauderdale.

How cute are these sleek slipcovers with peekaboo liner!

I am hell bent and determined to find out who makes this lamp I need it!

  1. What a fun kitchen! Glad you were able to get away to relax over the holidays. I think we are going to finally have some cooler weather here in NJ! My kids are ready for skiing...and are already hoping for some snow days from school! Happy New Year my friend!
    Cheers! Shelley
