Warm Up With La Castellamonte!

It is so cold here in the North East that I am craving the warm of my wood burning stove. I have a blue enameled cast iron stove in my kitchen, it came with my old house. I wouldn't have picked it but I didn't have the heart to remove it either, so I have worked around it and gave it a purpose. That little stove did come in handy during  "Super Storm Sandy"' as we cooked on top of it due to no electricity. However, if I had my way I would trade it in for a beauty from La Castellamonte!
I have always adored European Ceramic Wood Burning Stoves. I loved the one in my Grandmother's home in Hungary, I just wish I took a picture of it the last time I was there. The ceramic stoves from LC give me that same feeling as my grandmother's. They are beautiful to look at and warm up your room immediately. I am partial to the traditional style but they also have a modern line that is very cool too.  For more about this wonderful company go HERE.

For all you Modernistas out there look at these!

  1. Karolyn these styles are amazing and how cozy and comforting for a kitchen especially in this icy frigid winter weather! Stay warm!!

  2. I love those little modern ones! I see these in european homes and didn't know much about them- thanks for the info! xo Nancy

  3. I was going to say ..I know what you mean about the cold but we don't get the same weather you do;) I just posted something about comfort food and the nesting we all do in January. A wood-burning stove would be perfect and I like all of these. When we are walking our local trails there is a home (or cabin;) that has one. It smells SO good outside when we walk by.

    Stay warm Karolyn!

  4. These are beautiful and just what I need this morning!! Stay warm this weekend! xoxo

  5. I love them all, but you know me-a little more traditional. I would love to have the first one in our home! Wow!

  6. I love these stoves! What a beautiful addition to a keeping room!

I always enjoy hearing from my viewers so comment frequently!
