Statement Subway Tiles

I am starting my file for a dear friend's kitchen restoration. Trying to get the most bang on a budget, yet still remain classic for resale should that happen down the road.  Most everything has been decided except the backsplash. I think it's hard to decide a backsplash these days because there are just too many awesome options! One option I love is the over scale subway tile. It's simple and classic yet with the large size it definitely makes a statement. What is your favorite go to backsplash tile these days?
