ORC Guest Finale!

I have to be honest it was a very crazy week for me with ups and downs and I wasn't sure that I would be able to pull this together.  I was up last night finishing the mural, hanging romans, adding new hardware and last minute accessories.   I took pictures last night because it's chaos in the morning around here and I knew that bathroom would be a mess in no time flat!

I for one want to say "BRAVO"to all the other Guest ORC participants, you did amazing jobs on your rooms. My room was really more of rejuvenation rather than a renovation, but I hope I gave people some inspiration on how to freshen up a space with paint, lighting, window treatments and accessories.

Well, lets see how it went shall we!

Added the following:Lucite table-Bonny Neiman,  Chinoiserie Pottery -The Enchanted Home,
Fun tribal basket One Kings Lane, Morrocan Lantern - Lambertville,
and Faux Succulents - The Garden Cottage.

Found this great faux metal bamboo hurricane at Home Goods and couldn't pass it up!

Kohler nickel ring pulls added a bit of interest to a simple vanity.

It took me about 5 hours to do this mural.
Of course I love to paint but when its for myself I get bored easily so come back next year and there might be a different mural in its place!

I was going to do a decorative trim on my romans but with everything else going on
I think simple is better.

I am so happy that I replaced the simple modern lights with these fun faux silver bamboo
fixtures they added a less serious tone to the space.

I will try to get a daytime shot of this space to share in the next few days!
Congratulations to all the ORC participants and guests you all did such wonderful spaces  you should all be proud! Thank you Linda for hosting this you really created a great event.
