Wisteria Mood Contest

#wisteriamood

I had fun playing around with all of Wisteria pieces to create a "wisteria mood" room!
Wisteria has joined  Dwell With Dignity ......
Dwell with Dignity’s mission is to help families escape poverty and homelessness through design; one household at a time. By bringing good design into the lives of those less fortunate, a path to positive self-esteem and self-sufficiency begins. Our philosophy is that changing a person’s environment changes their outlook on life. This begins a cycle of positivity: when we provide our families a place to be proud of and thrive in, we have set the stage for breaking the cycle of poverty and setting up future generations for success.
Go Here to join in the fun too!

Dreaming Of A Florida Room!

I am so thrilled that it is finally warm and sunny today in the North East!  It has been so dreary that I seriously contemplated heading to Florida.  That lead me to think about Florida
living and if I did have a home how would it differ from the one I am in now. Well, my home has a more organic French feel and yes that could definitely work for a Florida room but part of me thinks of a more clean , white eclectic modern vibe.  I imagined a great penthouse condo with views of  Miami or South Beach and of course great big windows! Lots of light and added greenery with touches of aquatic art for sure.   Maybe a few hollywood regency accessories such as the brass greyhound to add a touch of fun.
How would your Florida room differ from your own home now?  If you are seriously pondering the  Florida lifestyle it's always fun to see what's available right here - FLORIDA!

#UltimateVegasOutfit at any age!

If I could do an ultimate stay in Vegas along with the ultimate outfits this is what I would imagine wearing on such a trip! What fun right? What's a 40+ gal to wear and where would I go in fabulous Las Vegas? Hmmm, it didn't take me long to visit Vegas.com and come up with some fun destinations and then scour the internet for great Fashion attire to wear once there.

I have included some great places to visit and also how I would use a bit of restraint at my age while still having a fun with my outfits. Ready to  take a little trip to Vegas with me? Check out Vegas.com for fabulous hotels and tell me where you would visit, dine and drink in Viva Las Vegas!

My flight and arrival outfit would be able to transition from cooler temps to warm, combining colors I love! To find out where to purchase items go HERE.

Well, when one hits Vegas you must sit pool side and enjoy food and libations!
I would love to visit the Mandarin Hotel and have a poolside lunch while enjoying all the greenery, literally!

A one piece is for me especially since my unfortunate surgery last week, but I think this has the right amount of style to still be chic while remaining a bit covered up!
For the items on this board go HERE.

Maybe your friends are a little more Rock & Roll... Then you may be hitting the Hard Rock Hotel for a pool side lunch and cocktail.
Yes, at the Hard Rock Vegas black is a neutral! However, black attire doesn't have to be too serious, check out the great "love" sandals and "Do Not Disturb" sun hat! To check out my fashion picks for this look go HERE.

One cannot go to Vegas without dining at a fabulous restaurant.  Trouble is there are so many to choose from! I thought first let's try the gorgeous Lago at the Bellagio Hotel!

The mood here calls for a little black and white with a pop of color in the accessories!
To check out my picks go HERE.

In the mood for something a bit more whimsical yet delicious?
How about Bartolotta Ristorante Di Mare at The Wynn Hotel!

Here, the good ole tuxedo jacket does double duty taking you from a black and white night to a colorful experience, totally versatile! If it's too warm for a jacket a nice wrap does the trick and of course I would be no where without a great pair of spectacles! One has to read the menu right? To check out my picks go HERE! To see the top 10 romantic restaurants in Vegas go HERE!

Okay, if you still have any energy left after gambling, swimming, eating and shopping.. There is still the famous VooDoo Rooftop Lounge! I am not sure if  a gal my age can swing it but I am willing to try! I forgo the mini dress for a  Fuchsia jump suit by DVF and make myself wear the hot blue heels.  The fun clutch as it does double duty from dinner to a night cap.
I love Sisley bronzer and Tropical perfume to give you an instant glow. I will have my pale pink Belvedere - Cosmo and call it a night!
