Sample It At Tilebar !

The only fun thing about being home sick is getting a great package from a cool vendor! My box of tile samples arrived from the Tilebar yesterday evening and boy were there some surprises inside!  I met Tilebar-(Jacob Herskovitz) on Twitter @TileBar while connecting with fabulous designers,vendors, artists and craftsmen.  They were so kind to send me a sample box and boy what a box it was! Elle Decoration

Well, I am so sorry that my post today will not be the most creative one that I have done in a while. I started getting the dreaded travel bug the past few days and this morning it's in full swing! So any suggestions on how to kick this quickly would be greatly appreciated since I have to go to the Architectural Digest Show on Friday!
I picked up an Elle Decoration Magazine in Nice and once again loved seeing the use of color and blend of modern pieces that keep the Europeans a bit on the edge! I thought I would share some of my favorite finds from this issue and I am curious to see your comments on what you like from my picks!

I see that England and France can agree on one thing- Cole & Sons Fabulous Wallcovering!
I also love the pendant light bySpace Copenhagen and the Cosse Sofa (Ligne Roset) they linked the wrong company but by shear determination I found out it is Phillipe Nigro for LR.

How about those metal tiles? LOVE- Maya wall tiles by CTO Lighting.
The pendant lights are also wonderful by Tom Dixon and I wish they put the right link for this amazing cocktail table but again they sent me on a wild goose chase instead!  I am determined to find out who made it and I will let you know as soon as I do.

Onto the bold colors!  I saw quite alot of turquoise, pale robin's egg, tutti frutti red and pops of matte black.  The use of many accent walls with poops of color to divide space are all the rage!
I think Kris @Driven by Decor will be glad to know she is on the cutting edge of Euro choice with her almost black walls!

ZARA-HOME

While shopping in London I recognized the name Zara from the apparel store and wandered in to find a home store instead!  This was one fun store filled with bedding, pillows tables top, accessories and a children's section in the basement.  The colors ranged from muted to bold with a slight tropical feel that could be mixed into any setting.  It was staged so well I wanted to bring the whole store back, especially since we don't have one here yet! I do say "yet" because I think it will eventually make it's way here and when it does it will be wildly popular!! Here are some of my favorite things I found and a glimpse at their  Online Ad Campaign  that makes you want to shop even more!  I also want to thank everyone for all the kind comments I received yesterday on my Irish post, I love the people I have met through blogging!
