Pet Beds Help Pet Rescues!

Have you heard of Urban Loft Online? It's a great site for everything from sheets to rugs and everything in between. I have become fast Twitter friends with UrbanLoft and I love that by selling their dog beds they are able to help fund a rescue that goes to Puerto Rico and takes care of stray dogs!  These beds are so adorable and well made, I just love them.  I have picked out a few of my favorites and also included a few great finds from their site that I also have a crush on. To see more of this fun site go HERE. I also wanted to include this wonderful rescue that has a spot on Go Fund Me, it's called "One Women Rescue 1" . By purchasing a simple pet bed you too can be helping the animals as well. Check out this rescue HERE.

A few more goodies that I want from Urban!
They have organic body scrub and bath soak, love!

These poufs and throw blankets are so much fun too!

The Nautical Home!

Two great books came for me to review just in time for Summer! Both are from Skyhorse Publishing and are nautical and Nantucket inspired.  For my DIY bloggers out there that want some great Nautical projects to try," The Nautical Home" is perfect for you! It has more than 60 DIY projects with easy to follow instructions. They range from simple ideas using maps to fabulous lamps, pillows and even a headboard. The author Anna Omberg is a DIY decorator and author of over 28 books on interiors and repurposing Flea Market finds. She resides in Howanthorp Sweden, but you can get her great ideas here

Linen and Leopard!

I am having so much fun helping my dear friend decorate her home. Everything is ordered for her wonderful living room, so now it's just the waiting game as things arrive. We have a great cocoa antelope "Stark" rug coming for the dining room and a really cool ebony and beige woven rug for her foyer stairway. Now its on to the petite powder room.  The space is small and I will post before and afters once everything is installed.  We wanted a light airy feel that still had personality. So, linen toned leopard was the print of choice!

Schumacher's iconic Leopard in Linen tone.
This beauty will grace the wall from floor to ceiling!

We could not stop there. The matching fabric will either be a stationary roman or an adorable box pleated valance with a bold turquoise or robin's egg tape.
Similar to this great roman shade by Lynn Chalk!
We will add a punch of color to the trim as we enhance the antique light fixture with a little touch of glossy paint too!

Above are in the running for tape trim from Samuel & Sons!

This bargain find will be transformed with a little gold glaze and bold turquoise paint.

The existing pink toned terra cotta will stay put
and let the linen tone and pop of blue steal the show.
I cant wait to get this installed. Before and afters will be coming soon!
