Wishing on a WIndow Box!

What a crazy weekend, proms, sweet sixteens, fundraiser parties.. finally I can breathe and pay attention to my poor garden and sad window box! I thought about the one place that has great window boxes and that place is New York City.  So many brownstones with creative little window gardens, I just love to walk down the streets and check them all out. I needed inspiration for my own window box that I plan on working on today. I found some beauties, and I cant wait to get to the garden center and start shopping! I will post photo of final window box when its done. Happy Sunday everyone enjoy this beautiful day where ever you are!
I love the climbing Ivy and filled box of hydrangeas daffodils and pansies!

l love mixes of ferns too.

Colorful and fun!

Simply elegant boxes.

Great porch window box idea!

Pale geraniums are always lovely.

www.improvisedlife.com what a great idea of using a palette and creating a garden on a fire escape!!

Not New york but I Love it!!!

  3. Lovely photos! I purchased Rose Begonia's for my window box as it only receives morning sunlight, and I will also add ivy. I would love to have colorful flowers such as the 3rd photograph! So pretty!

Thank you for stopping by. It's always nice to meet new friends. xoxo, B

  4. Found you through Teresa's blog and wanted to stop over and take a look. We're renovating a 70's French Provincial and I plan to add some window boxes when we get done with the paint!
