Celerie Kemble-Black & White( and a bit in between)

My colleagues and I attended the" What's New-What's Next" in Design at 200 Lexington Ave last night. The building was a buzz with the who's who of design, and for me it was like being amongst design "stars"! Earlier in the day I shopped for samples at the D&D and ran into Steven Gambrel at Lee Jofa, and at 200 Lex I was fortunate to meet one of my idols, Celerie Kemble. Celerie was promoting and signing her book Black & White at the Henredon showroom.  It was a true pleasure meeting and chatting with her. She is as lovely as her designs and well put together too! She is one busy lady. She is a mother, designer and entrepreneur and when asked if she will take some down time now she just laughed! The book is a definite must have for the designer library full of gorgeous photos, wonderful tips and examples of the  use of black and white in Decor! I chose a few Photos to share with you, have a great weekend!

Doesn't she look like a school girl, what a young fresh look!

A wonderful inspiration!

A definite rule to live by!
