Tagged!

I was tagged by wonderfully talented blogger Carol Bradford! If you are not familiar with her she is from Vintage Mulberry! I have to answer some interesting questions and I hope I don't come across too boring! I also wanted to start off the post with a favorite image from my recent trip to Ireland and then on to the questions.

My nieces and nephew enjoying a bit of Irish heritage!
 ARE YOU NAMED AFTER SOMEONE?

Actually I am. This is strange but my father's name in Hungarian is Karoly , and I guess they must have been expecting a boy and instead I arrive. Thus they added an "n" to the end of Karoly and my name came to be.
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED?

I cried last night watching "Call The MidWife", I am so silly and emotional when it comes to historical drama. I also cried leaving Ireland and my Aunt and Uncle as life os fleeting and you just never know.
DO YOU HAVE KIDDOS?
Yes I do. I have three young ladies. One is 19 and attends Skidmore College in Saratoga, then an 18 year old who will be attending St. Josephs in Philadelphia and my 14 year old who will be attending high school and exploring the world of theater. They are all good children, I guess I got lucky but I am truly blessed and I am very proud of them all.
IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE A FRIEND TO YOURSELF?

I think I would, I have friend who tell me that they can always count on me to help them when needed and that they trust me with things or issues that I would never breach.  Plus, I do like a good laugh and I am somewhat of a kidder always happy when I see smiles on my friend's faces!
DO YOU HAVE A GUILTY PLEASURE?

Yes, I am addicted to Starbucks Green Tea Latte...there I said it!

DO YOU LIKE HANDWRITING?
I love beautiful note cards! My handwriting is not the nicest but I do try to send written thank you cards any time I can.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL?

Funny question! Its hard these days because I am trying to go low carb.. the old metabolism is not what it should be! I actually love healthy cereal and the Ezekiel Cinnamon Raisin sprouted cereal is a favorite!
WHAT'S THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE?
Believe it or not it's there overall energy. I can tell by mannerisms and facial expressions whether person is real or fake. I like kind eyes and genuine smiles and someone who is not afraid to laugh.. those I notice first!
WHAT'S THE COLOR OF YOUR EYES?
They change color from green to blue depending on how I feel or if I wear certain makeup. So I guess blue /green?
 SCARY MOVIE OR HAPPY ENDINGS?
Always Happy Endings , I have never liked and never will like scary movies unless its starring Christian Bale!
Favorite TV SHOWS

I love the following: Downton Abbey, Selfridges, Call the Midwife,  and definitely Sherlock! I usually only watch Public Television and sorry but I don't like reality TV, it makes me uncomfortable. Especially the House
Wives of any county, I dont understand the horribly mean behavior.

Summer or Winter?
Thats tough I love Summer but if I am in a cabin  in the Adirondacks I love Winter, to be honest I think I really love Fall the best!
HUGS OR KISSES?
I think hugs for sure because they can have different meanings and lend emotional strength when needed.
DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL TALENT?

This is always a tough question as I am a bit hard on myself at times. I guess it would be painting. I love it but I also am my worst critique.

Attempt at abstract interiors.

WHERE WERE YOU BORN?

I was born in Astoria , Queens-New York!
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
I love art, design and cooking! I love making a meal that everyone gathers around and enjoys! I think my signature cake is the Starbucks Chocolate it never fails to be delicious!
DO YOU HAVE ANY PETS?

MARCY

KIERAN

DAKOTA

REMY

FAVORITE MOVIE?
I still love My Fair Lady and Somethings Gotta Give!

WHAT COLOR IS YOUR CAR?
I guess you would call it Pearl, its slightly iridescent white!
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GROW UP?
Wow, thats interesting.  I want to continue to be a good mother ..maybe a good grandmother God willing.  I have a good life , yet I know that we keep learning until the day we leave this earth , so I guess I want to become a seeker of knowledge that benefits not only myself but those around me!

Well thank you Carol for letting me get to know myself a little bit better!

Please  stop by tomorrow as I am linked as a guest on A Stroll Thru Life!
