A bitter sweet Monday as a favorite design icon of mine Myra Hoefer has passed away over the weekend. Myra one of Luxe Interiors-Design Gold listed designers struggled for years with chronic genetic lung disease, yet it never stopped her from being fabulous! She was a self taught designer who worked her way up from shopping for fabrics in the garment district to designing budget makeover apartments in Paris for firm based out of Sausalito. The antique shops in Paris knew her by name "Madame Tout deSuite"! Her relaxed yet beautiful European influenced style has always been a favorite of mine. To read more about Myra go HERE. Myra also designed some wonderful furniture pieces that give any space instant personality and these pieces will live on. Here is a little glimpse and tribute to a marvelously talented lady, RIP.
