Tactile Studio
I have found an artist that makes art that you want to reach out and touch! Artist Rachel Dein is based in England and has this wonderful shop called the Tactile Studio. Rachel uses a process of pressing found objects mainly flowers etc into clay for an impression and then pours plaster for an amazing relief. I applaud the way she arranges the stems and petals to become true works of art. These are available and if in London one can attend a work shop on plaster tile making as well with Rachel. That gives me an idea about my next trip to England! Go HERE to find how to purchase.
