My sister and I attended the Annual Bernardsville Design
Showcase, at the lovely Bernardsville Inn, Bernardsville, NJ. There were the latest fabrics, furniture,
and rugs from various design houses.
The ones that stood out were as follows: Jim
Thomspon No. 9, Clarence House, Osborne & Little, and Elanbach. The one that I really fell for was a
line of fabrics from Wales named Elanbach!
Elanbach is a unique enterprise that brings together cutting
edge technology, a creative family of designers that is directly linked to
their location in rural Wales. The offices and production are based on the
grounds of Llangoed Hall a country house hotel renovated by the late Sir
Bernard Ashley and is situated on the banks of the river Wye in Mid Wales.
The hotel is still in use and offers luxury accommodations to
both private clients and conferences. Since the hotel is also a showcase for
the Elanbach fabrics the designs are chosen by Regine Burnell to complement the
décor and are coordinated in the Elanbach style! There are four designers on
staff, Bernard Ashley, Regine Burnell, Emma Shuckburgh and Tom Parr. Each bring
their unique style to the design table and created a line that is both trendy
and traditional, with choices of having design printed on either bleached or
natural linen , fine or satin cotton. Here are some examples of there
wonderful fabrics, there are so many I could only fit a few on the post! Visit

We are delighted to announce that the Elanbach brand has been acquired by Dominic Morgan. Elanbach will relocate to Lichfield, Staffordshire, where its design, development, print and distribution will be managed alongside its sister brand Jim Dickens (www.jimdickens.co.uk) that Dominic founded in 2003.

Supported by a team of experienced sales staff, representatives and management, the Elanbach brand will be at the forefront of classical design for many years to come.
With an extensive, innovative new website, providing access to the entire archive, with numerous search options, mood boards and online sample ordering and a friendly support, we aim to provide a service that is second to none.
Elanbach will be exhibiting at the September CABMFF Suppliers Fayre and Decorex International 2013 where we will be showcasing our stunning collections.
