Seeking a Happy Place!

Well, it was not a good ending to my busy yesterday. I have concluded that even though I try to keep control over my life and actions etc, sometimes we have no control!  Yesterday I did everything in my power to get all things done so I could attend that wonderful charity event and a falling ladder hitting my face stopped me right in my tracks! Poor installer got her foot stuck in a 6 foot ladder and fell sending the ladder into my face and nose. Not a a pretty site I must say but we managed to save the cornice and no damage to the client's install, just to us! We stayed and with the help of the clients grounds keeper/handy man I got all windows installed while holding an icepack to my face. Needless to say a lovely evening with my dear friend Nancy and the Dystonia Foundation was not meant to be. I am still putting ice on this morning, not sure if it will do any good at this point because my nose is not mine but a much stockier version for sure.  So that leads me to trying to find my happy place!! A place I can retreat to and forget the nonsense of that past day.. I found a few that fit the bill. Sorry to rant but it's a bit like therapy and I know that I am very lucky, just a bit bruised!

Have a safe and wonderful weekend everyone!

  2. HOw very strong of you to actualy finish the work! And you are lucky, yes, that it is not a broken nose! your dream (first pic) house is so lovely that I want to desperately see some green out our windows too....but the good news is that my snowdrops are coming out already and that is very excited...the horrible rabbits eat them in the front yard but our wooden fence keeps them away in the back yard and there they are coming(: Looking at fowers might help you too((: have a restful weekend...hugs Z
