It looks great with the slate floors. I also love it with the marble and soap stone counters.

ReplyDelete& I'm going to Petfinders right now.
Merry Christmas, darling.
Just fabulous! I see influences and inspirations from Belgium. I hope you are enjoying a festive holiday season, Karolyn. Warm greetings to you my friend!

Loi you abd your husband have a wonderful Christmas, and great New Year!
DeleteYes yes! Limed oak would be lovely on a dining table as well, something I've noticed customers asking for more and more these days.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I am in love with this look, and we were very fortunate to obtain a set of French bookcases of this very same wood and color! I hope to have exposed beams installed next summer with the same color!
ReplyDeleteHELLO THERE MY DEAR! You are so kind to come by and comment on my post, during this mad rush before Christmas! You know, it's funny that you mention about my post being a movie of sorts. One of my many dreams in the literary area is to make a short film. How fun would that be?
Many wishes to you for a SUPER CHRISTMAS! Anita
LOVE the look , we did a limed oak in our back stair hall and breakfast room and I love it today as much as I did the day it was done....so gorgeous!! You and I are channeling each other lately...with me and my limed oak bench giveaway!! Great minds think alike:)

When it´s pale like this wood is gorgeous! xo Caroline
ReplyDeleteAgree, this is gorgeous. I love my fresh white cabinets, but the texture of light wood is tempting! XO
ReplyDeleteI am the same way, karolyn. I want to strip every piece of wood I have!!

ReplyDeleteOK…can I rip my kitchen out now? Dying.
ReplyDeleteThose kitchens are gorgeous. I love the look of pale wood too. While I may not be able to do that with my cabinets I can start with something small like a thrifted piece of furniture. Thanks for the inspiration!! Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely try it with a thrift piece that's oak! If you do send me a photo! Thsnks for stopping by!
